Cyrillic characters in Mysql 3.23.55
Hi
My server runs Mysql 3.23.55 and Php 4.3.0.
Do I need to upgrade Mysql and/or Php in order to be able to use cyrillic characters?
I seem to find advice on using cyrillic characters only for versions of Mysql 4.1.
Could someone please give me an address where I can find simple(!) instructions on how to use cyrillic in my Mysql version?
Or, if the simple instructions are quite simple, could someone please give me advice right here!
I wouldn't want to start upgrading process unless it is quite necessary, because with my skills I know that my server will not be in working order for days or maybe for weeks!
Thanks, Olli
