Re: utf8 character show as ???
i using mysql 4.0.12-nt and mysql front as interface. i try to use the syntax
alter table testing1 character set utf8
but after i check with the syntax
show variables
it just give me the result as below
latin1 big5 czech euc_kr gb2312 gbk latin1_de sjis tis620 ujis dec8 dos german1 hp8 koi8_ru latin2 swe7 usa7 cp1251 danish hebrew win1251 estonia hungarian koi8_ukr win1251ukr greek win1250 croat cp1257 latin5
which means i cant add the utf8 into the character_sets
so my database still showing ?? when i key in chinese words
can anyone help me?
