Hello,

I have this same problem, but on a table with countries, regions and cities.
I have successfully changed some characters through the replace sql query, and it works well.

I would've countinues but I can't find any more character equivalences, as I hace things such as:

Which is quite messed up.


For converting the rest of the characters I used <a href="http://www.urbannatives.net/localtreechild/drupal/drupal_code/search_and_replace_characters_whole_database_drupal"; >an array I found on google</a>, and it worked well.

Did you find or do you know any way to batch conver all remaining characters to their correspondant? or an equivalency table to keep on manually changing characters?
