How are you viewing this data?
Do you know if the data is turned into ????? by the app or by the database?
If you are using a non unicode aware app this can happen. Are you running windows XP, if you are, see what the setting is under control panel, regional settings, advanced for the language. I have an app I developed which stores unicode data at However, I can only store English plus one other language since it is VB6. But the Database can store any language and does. I tested with chinese, japanese, russian, arabic.
