Error while storing the user information

MySQL 4.1 (newest ver)
PHP 4.3.10
I recently installed MySQL to my prod box, restored my backup, then proceeded to change to old passwords. Well, after making the change to my db to enable old passwords and after a couple of reboots, I was able to change the user's passwords with no error. I tried 4 different accounts and no errors.
Well, the next day, I come in and add a user with a NULL password. ODBC.user.
When I hit the apply button, I got the error "Error while storing the user information".
MySQL seems to commit the changes, but I am unsure as to why I am getting this error, what is it going to screw up later, and how do I fix it?
If anyone needs detailed instructions on how I setup my database, please let me know.
PLEASE HELP!! This install is on a PROD server that is going live next WEEK!
