This appears to be an issue with MySQL Server version > 4.1.10a
and MySQL Administrator 1.0.19
In attempt to duplicate this issue, I installed a new instance of
4.1.11 MySQL Server. After the v4.1.11 installation and start up,
user information changes via MySQL Administrator v1.0.19 results
in the error dialog message "Error while storing the user information."
Yet, user permissions can be changed using the grant command
from either mysql prompt or the MySQL Browser application.
User information changes work fine when using
4.1.10a MySQL Server + 1.0.19 MySQL Administrator.
