Re: Supporting UCA collations
So you want only bin and swedish and general, eh?
The MySQL storage engines, including Falcon and
InnoDB, support all character sets and collations.
But for information about third party storage engines,
you'll probably have to ask the vendors themselves.
I don't know of any popularity polls. I do know
that people are using UCA collations -- you can
search this forum or the bugs.mysql.com database
to see that. We will continue to recommend them.
