problem with displying kannada string (maping keyboard to kannada)

hi all,

hi,

i am storing kannada (india) string into mysql database, that column is
varchar (and i tried blob also). when saw in db it showing ??????.
while retriving it also printing ?????.
what do with this problme, please help to solve this problem..
