Not a bug?
I had some very strange behavior using UTF8 as character set and reported that as a bug:
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=12191
So you can say, select x from table where x like '%[special character]%' simply doesn't work.
Can anybody explain me why that's not a bug? Thanks!
