Rick,
I was able to find the problem.

The problem was with the text editor that I was using to make the changes.
Due to "some reason" it was not ACTUALLY updating the configuration file "my.ini", although it showed the correct file path & name & also allowed me to update & save the file as well.

I retried making the changes using a notepad & everything worked fine as expected.
