Upper and lower cases of national letters in LIKE do not works...

I'd like to filter table by text column with LIKE statement.
This should be not case sensitive. It works but not for polish letters.
LIKE works like case sensitive for this (Ąą, Ćć, Ęę, Łł, Ńń, Óó, Śś, Źź, Żż)
How to improve this?
(To be not case sensitive).
