Hello,

I read this:
"Currently, UCS-2 cannot be used as a client character set, which means
that SET NAMES 'ucs2' does not work."

Then I read this forum, but my question is still there.

That's why, I would like to know when the Unicode UCS2 will be fully
available with the MySQL C API?
