Creating a users table for several collations...?

Hi everyone

I'm trying to design a database that will require a user table, but we'd like to keep it as open as possibile with the aim that the site may reach an international audience at some point.

I understand we can't make a column that will hold multiple collations at the same time, but I was really trying to avoid creating seperate user tables for Greek users, English users, Chinese users, Arabic users, etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to create a column that will take several different characters sets at the same time or is it best to make different tables for each user collation/character set?

Many thanks,
Anthony
