Importing mySQL 5.0 database files into MySQL 5.5
My computer recently died on me after uninstalling some rogue utilities. I've done a factory reset (after backing up the entire drive) and now find myself with
- a new installation of MySQL 5.5
- a backup (no exported sql or dump file) of the old MySQL 5.0 installation
What's the easiest way to import the old 5.0 database files into the newer 5.5 version? Any articles I found so far appear to rely on the existence of an sql export or a dump file.
Any help or reference to a procedure highly appreciated.
