Re: MS SQL 7.0 to MySQL migration from windows 2000 to linux
I have install MySQL migration on my windows machine. and for the source I give it the information for my windows MS SQL 7.0 server and for the destination I give it the information for my Linux MySQL server. But then it displays:
opening connection....
connection jdbc:jtdc:sqlserver://ip:port/Database name; user=---;password=---
the list of schema names could not be retrieved (error:0)
login failed for user '---'. Reason: not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.
I am sure that I have the right user name and password. It even displays invalid username password if I input the wrong ones. Maybe this is because MySQL migration (windows version) does not have added support for MS SQL 7.0.
if it does can you give me some ideas of how to solve this problem...
Many thanks
Ben
