Sander,

In the new 1.0.18, please open the GRT shell by pressing F4 after you have selected the souce schema. Then enter

BaseJava:java2GrtXmlLogging({1})

This will activate logging. Then perform the reverse engineering. The log files are written to C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\MySQL\log

Please try to open the reverse engineering XML file in Firefox or another browser that will validate the xml file. I wonder if the problems are due to a broken XML encoding.

Until the mirrors have catched up you can download from ftp://ftp.mysql.com/pub/mysql/download/mysql-migration-toolkit-1.0.18-rc-win32.msi

Thanks,
Mike
