Fix for MT 1.0.17 rc and Oracle 8
When migrating from Oracle 8, please apply this patch to the MT 1.0.17 rc.
ftp://ftp.mysql.com/pub/mysql/download/mysql-migration-toolkit-patch1-1.0.17-rc-win32.zip
The two files in the zip file need to be extracted to
[INSTALLDIR]\java\com\mysql\grt\modules
overwriting the 2 existing files there. Then the reverse engineering of columns on Oracle 8 is back working.
This fix will be in 1.0.18 rc
