On this http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=43851 page.

I found that using

`yourColName` TIMESTAMP NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

is some kind of temporary workaround.

I hope this doesn't have any undesired side-effects?.
