HELP! - MigrationToolkit will not run :(

i thought the problem might have been with my Java runtime Environment installation.

in troubleshooting my problem,
i uninstalled the Applications installed on my system by the the following installers:
j2sdk-1_4_2_09-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe (Java Dev Kit - SDK)
j2re-1_4_2_09-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe (Java Runtime Environment)
mysql-migration-toolkit-1.0.20-rc-win32.msi (MySQL Migration Toolkit)
mysql-administrator-1.1.4-win.msi (MySQL Administrator)

then, i rebooted, and reinstalled only the
jre-1_5_0_05-windows-i586-p.exe (Java Runtime Environment 5: not including the SDK this time), and then proceeded to re-install the MySQL Administrator and the MySQL Migration Toolkit.

The MySQL Administrator runs just fine (i think), but here's what i get when trying to run the MySQL Migration Toolkit. First this error:
http://eastcoastbandnetwork.com/images/screencap/MySQL_MigrationTK_Err1.jpg
and then this immediately after.
http://eastcoastbandnetwork.com/images/screencap/MySQL_MigrationTK_Err.jpg
once that second error window appears, and i click ok, nothing more happens, and the app never starts.

actually, the reason i installed the Migration Toolkit in the first place was to Restore into a local MySQL db, a db which i archived as MyArchive.sql from my phpMyAdmin on my Linux server, provided by my hosting provider. I tried to Restore this w/ the MySQL Administrator, but i get this error:
http://eastcoastbandnetwork.com/images/screencap/MySQL_Restore_Err.jpg

any ideas on what is going wrong here?

thanks!
