yes. i hope that perhaps the MySQL Web Admin's might see this and recognize it as a fairly common problem

i would assume that many people change the install directory from c:\program files\MySQL to that of the old way, the way that most software probably expects it to be at c:\MySQL

any third part software always looks for it right there as far as i've ever witnessed.
