To improve speed I collect the insert statements to a buffer, till it has reached a given size. Then the bulk of optimized INSERT statements is executed.
When you have a single row that is huge (e.g. large TEXT or BLOB data) you will run into issues. There are some options to do direct BLOB streaming to overcome this limitation. But there might be problems with TEXT fields.
