mySQL migration linux documentation

Is there any documentation for the linux text gu migration, I have everything seemingly working however after it I select the databases and it does its thing it just seems to stop or waiting for me to issue a command. I have no idea what to do next - I was successfully able to do this on a windows machine however I really dont understand what to do next.
