DB2 UDB connection problems

Alright...I've tried using the generic jdbc option using the app, net and universal IBM jdbc connectors, but so far no go.

I tend to get errors based on username or password errors. Is there a known way to specify the username and password within the connection string that is acceptable to the migration toolkit?

NOTE: The DB2 jdbc jar files have been copied to the migration toolkit java/lib folder...and I have installed the db2 client in order to try using a local alias for a remote db.
