Storing tables on multiple partitions
I have a database file that is stored in a offline location. Daily it may produce up to 1GB of data. The thing is that sometimes backups have to be made. After months, that backup can become huge and obviously backuping up is time consuming.
Is there a way to split database files into smaller partitions so the backup is less streesful on a data connection?
