Partition Management over rolling 180 days
I'm planning to partition a very large table with 180 days worth of rolling data -- one partition per day. What is the best way to manage the creation/deletion of partitions on a daily basis? Do I need to store/read the low/high partition names (ex., p1 and pn) so I know which to drop (p1) and what to add (pn+1)? Is there a slick alterative?
