Thank you for your reply.
To clarify all searches are against the PK, the file name property. No searches are based on date or the size coulombs.
I am fairly new to MySQL and did some research on Full Text searches against regular searching. However, I have been unable to find a clear cut answer as to how a Full Text search would be faster in this case compared to a regular search.
Could you please explain how the Full Text search would be faster in this scenario?
