How can I decide which partition type can I chose

I have a table which does not contain any integer columns, a couple of fields capturing the date in milliseconds in bigint field.
This table can grow in millions. On average, it 5 million records in a week.
There is a primary key on this table which is a GUID.
If I had to partition the table, what would be the best option.
Thanks in advance!
