Hi Rolf.
Could you give a description of your current problem? I saw your bug report (http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=63083) and need more info to understand you.
From the bug report I would guess that you are doing concurrent inserts/updates/deletes or your inserts/updates/deletes blocks your selects. And that you probably use MyISAM.
Could you describe your tables and their usage?
