I just installed on my Windows pc Wamp with MySQL 5.5.16 ... the partitioning WORKS FINE!
Data are distributes evenly in all the 4 partitions.
So is it a version problem?
The MySQL 5.1.47 is runnning on a CentOS 6 server.
