Dear Rick,
Ok I will move both the date and time into one field too. So int(2) got no meaning rite is just that the small or big int has meaning am I right? I need this uniquness (`receiptID`,`outletID`) why because different outlet will be also storing their receipt details into this table so that will make them different from the rest. I dont quite get this double(10,2) will cause error? Eventually we will get few million rows and this table is linked to tblReceiptDetails which will even more rows. So is it possible when I partition this table can it also partition another table at once?

Those select you wrote yes I am running them for reports. I dont quite get this too "You would need to reverse the order of the PK fields to benefit those queries." How will the reverse will be helpful?
