Otherwise, it would have to check _all_ partitions whenever you insert a row. (This is to check the UNIQUEness.)

While your PARTITION+SUBPARTITION syntax may be correct, I see no use for it. What do you hope to achieve?...

Performance on INSERT? INSERTs are slowed down by PARTITIONing, especially with so many partitions?

Performance on SELECT? Let's see your SELECT(s). I suspect they will not benefit.

Purging old data? If you will do DROP PARTITION, then this is a big benefit.
