Hello Experts,

I have standalone MySQL server version 5.6.28-log installed on my production setup.
I am planning to add one more same version server as slave.
I will be assigning 500GB disk to new server.
As this will be a production server, I wanted to have this server up to the mark as far as performance concern.
So for now, I would like to know, is there any suggestion on OS partition to be crated?
I am using Centos 7 for this server.
How will be the OS partition to improve th MySQL server performance?

Regards
sdbhabal.
