Hi Aimee,
I was having a similar frustration and indeed my problem was the same as yours... too many occurences of one word in a search and MySQL just returns nothing. It's a "stop word" because of too many occurences? Is there a way to disable this 'feature' so that all rows containing that 'stop word' are returned anyway? (do you know?)
