ranking search engine?

Ok my boss came to me today asking if it was possible to have a list of 500 short clips with text tracks extracted and have them be searchable.

I told him using a database would be the answer. Thats all fine, but then he asked me if I would be able to rank them depending on how many times that word or phrase is said in the text track. For example, you search for the word 'tank'.

Video1 has 10 occurences of the word 'tank' while video2 has only 5 occurences of the word 'tank'.

Is it possible to output these finding depending on how many time the phrase occures so video1 would be listed before video2?

I hope you all understand what I am talking about. I am quite new to databases as well so pretend you are talking to someone who hasn't played around with them too much =]...Thank you in advance.
