search for most present words

In our MySql DB we have a table used to log queries, with a memo field containing search words from a search function in our site. This table has 5000 news records/month. I need to develop a function/command able to tell me the 20 most "searched" words in the site, which means the 20 most present words in the memo field of the table, each month. Os course we in the table we have a date field too. The site, a non profit public utility one, is written in ASP.
Any idea about how to do this ??
