Find articles related to current article?

Hi,
I'm trying to determine if MySQL's full-text search can accomplish what I'm looking for. I'm putting together articles and want to list the top 5 most relevant articles based on the content of the currently viewed article.
Full text search typically takes a number of keywords, not full documents. Can MySQL accomplish this? If so, are there any pointers or article describing it?
