Hi Lucas,
The non-normalized column is an option. But I think you should firstly check the performance and then adding that additional column. Before all the HAVING clause is applied after the result is filtered by the FULL-TEXT matches so if the FULL-TEXT does not return a bunch of rows, may be the impact of HAVING clause will no be that bad.
