Is what you searched for in the against command considered three characters in Japanese? If so, the full text index by default has a minimum index character limit of 4 characters, which means that that three character word wasn't indexed.
Try a search for 4 characters and see if it works.

Also you mentioned you used the parser Sen to parse the Japanese text.
Where can I find out more about it, i.e. a website?
