Hi David,

It is my experience that the stopwrod file replaces the existing stopwords however to have it work you need to restart the MySQL service and rebuild your indexes.

There is a full list of built in stopwords at: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/fulltext-stopwords.html
