Searching a keyword containing a double quote

The search keywords are: Acer 24"
I have set ft_min_word_len=3 in the mysql config.
Query:
SELECT productid FROM productkeywords WHERE MATCH(keywords) AGAINST ('+acer +24\"' IN BOOLEAN MODE)
This query ignores the 24\" part of the string
Any ideas?
