I spent a little time tonight to play with it in mysql to see what the select statement was returning.
I found the problem is having more than 2 items in the MATCH keyword. In otherwords it works with MATCH(title,content) or MATCH(content,title) or MATCH(content,keywords) or MATCH(keywords,content) but won't work with any combination of having the third column.
Is that how it is supposed to work?
