Query Browser, Split Tabs

How do I edit a table with too many columns to fit on screen.. To be able to edit the table, I apparently must use Select *, (as opposed to Selecting a few columns), so I end up with too many columns to fit on screen.

So..I use Split Tab Vertically..which allows me to keep the key fields on the left..and move to the far right of the table to edit those columns...yet still know what row/record I am working on.

But the split tab is not synchronized..so when I move up/down in one..I lose track in the other. There must be a smarter way to do this....

thanks
