Viewing result of script in MySQL Query Browser

Hi, when I execute a query in the query browser then it shows the records but when I execut the same sql statement as a script in the query browser it returns no records.
I use the script because i want to try to work with temporary tables in mysql, but I need a way to see the results/records of ANY simple query I do.
What do I need to enable/do?
