Inclusion of TDE and Data Masking in Community Edition Future Release

We are using MySQL Community Edition Version 8.0.28 for one of our client due to some constraints instead of enterprise edition. But as far as my knowledge and after going through articles available, I can see currently Transparent Data Encryption and Data Masking features are not included in the version.

So I would like to know if there's any plan for inclusion of those features in future release?

Also, It would be great if you can highlight some of vulnerabilities in 8.0.28 version from security perspective.

Note: We are using 8.0.28 as we want to use the feature of InnoDB Cluster and Clusterset setup with MySQL Router feature, so that application connects to router instead of DB directly.
