I registered just to say A BIG THANK YOU to sir IAN.
As soon as I ran this command I got a message on screen saying that my character set is not supported. I was toying with Admin tool and have typed in wrong character set. I forgot all about it, and once I restarted my laptop MySQL wouldn't start. Off course all I had to do was to type "latin1" in my my.ini file. And now everything works.
Thanks man that was a great help.
P.S.
If MySQL knows where the problem is (in this case character set), why does it display that generic and useless "Couldn't start, error 1067" message?
P.P.S.
command is: mysqld-nt --verbose --help > myhelp.txt
