i have uninstalled and 4.0 MYSQL and installed mysql 4.1 alpha version for incorporating japanese characters and chinese characters im viewing this thru MYSQLCONTROL center i have made dependency of mysql service by a tomcat
earlier when mysql4.0 is my service my sql gets up but after installing mYSQL 4.1 the service is not getting up on digging up i found the file causing problem is
mysqld -nt.exe in the bin folder of mysql if i keep the 4.0 versions mysql -nt.exe there is no problem but when i removes and put the newer one it is giving problem
error 1067
plz suggest me and also suggest to view the japanese character in mycontrol center or to retrieve that characters what needs to do
