Re: ODBC and MySQL 4.1

I'm experiencing the same issue on a Windows 2000 IIS box.

Installed:

MySQL 4.1.4-gamma with installer
PHP 5.0.1 zip package
MyODBC-standard-3.51.9-win.exe

Everything seems to run fine, except I receive the "Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client" message when trying to run PHPMyAdmin 2.6.0-rc1 with cookie authentication (haven't tried config). I haven't connected to MySQL through other web applications yet. Executables, such as MySQL Administrator 1.0.12, appear to work fine.

Any help would be appreciated. Considering I have the latest clients (as far as I know), I'm not sure there's anything to update. I'm considering uninstalling everything and starting over with MySQL 4.0 - everything worked.

Thanks,

Rob
