Hi,
I had tried all of the suggestions in this post; then I decided to read the log file (.err in mysql folder installation).

It points to a page, MySQL reference manual 15.6.1,
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/error-creating-innodb.html

that suggests several options to try:

for me it worked to just delete the 10mb innodb files in your mysql installation,
but several other reasons are discussed causing the hateful Error 0

(after all the simplest solutions apply: rtfm!)
