Starting and Stopping a Windows Service

I have written a sample script for starting and stopping the MySQL Windows service, in case that helps anyone. See:

Starting and Stopping a Service
http://simplesamples.info/Scripts/StartStopService.php

It is a bit sloppy, but that is because we can't assume that the service is in the state (started or stopped) that we (the script) thinks it is.

Lately when I try to help, I get criticized for some reason, such as I put something in the wrong place or something like that. I sure don't get much thanks for trying to help. I was not sure where to post this, so if there is something else I should have done instead, then please at least be nice.
