hi there.
I am having trouble creating a database under the database tab.
I installed MySql 4.x on a windows 2000 server running IIS SP 4
It said install completed successfully
I clicked on the WinmySQLadmin 1.4 shortcut on desktop
It opened a window with the following tabs(Environ,Start check, server, etc, databases)
I clicked on databases tab, and I saw the Host server in which I installed mysql(the host). And I clicked the expanded the (+) sign and saw a test database.
Well according to some docs I saw on Mysql 3.23.52, To be able to create a database, I would be able to right click underneath the test database window, and then create a new database, and name it what I want. Well when I tried this with mysql 4.X, The only thing I am able to do is flush logs , host, tables, threads. How can I create a database and name it what I want. Are there any stepps I have missed in the install? Thanks, any help wouod be appreciated
